Frans Molenaar Prijs 2011 Backstage – AIFW SS2012
Hairdressers creating the most chic or extravagant haircuts and make-up artists making the most beautiful red lips. Backstage at the Frans Molenaar Show was a little hectic, because there were six different designers showing their collections, which meant a lot of models that needed to be dressed. But it all worked out really well and everyone looked shiny and happy.

Today the Frans Molenaar Award 2011 was presented to upcoming design talent Magnus Dekker. He won a money price of 10.000 euro, which he can use to spend on making a name for himself in the fashion world.
Magnus’ collection was all about contradictions. He showed colorful, voluminous designs with flag prints all over them. His clothes were fun, well designed and his perfectly styled models rocked the Amsterdam runway.
Congrats Magnus, your collection was magnifying!
At AIFW day 3: the sun is out, let’s play!
We thought it would rain forever, but look: the sun is out. And suddenly life & fashion looks much better.
Lichting 2011 backstage at AIFW SS2012
There was order in chaos backstage at Lichting 2011. Getting fourteen different collections prepared and all kinds of models in make up and dressed required special skills from the backstage-team. But in the end it all worked out fine. The result was a beautiful, fast show.

Which crew are you? Hot Kitchen at AIFW
Where would we be at AIFW without the delicious food of Hot Kitchen, the cateringservice (and much more – from concepts to events) of cook Caspar Bürgi and Ward van der Graaf? Our start of the day would be dull without the the friendly talks with Elsbeth at the counter. It’s always a happy start of the day.
Meet – from left to right standing – Elsbeth Bürgi, Caspar Bürgi, Ward van der Graaf. Sitting in front: Driss Bgharnati and Mohammed Hayi.

Sanne Schepers wins Lichting 2011
Sanne Schepers is the winner of Lichting 2011 and wins the G-star Raw Talent Award! On Thursday night Sanne was named the most promising young new Dutch talent out of fourteen fashion graduates. Sanne won a price of 10.000 euro and has the honor to be part of the G-star Raw catwalk presentation in Berlin.
An international jury existing of Shelly Fox (Parsons NYC), stylist Catherine Baba (Vogue, Chanel, Balmain), Romain Brau en Anna Kushnerova (founders of the Antwerp fashion store RA13) and Michael van der Ham chose Sanne as the winner of 2011. They praised her for her individual style and the new principle Sanne introduced in fashion.
Sanne used the idea of a twinset and came up with a very innovative design concept which makes it possible to wear one piece of clothing in four different ways. Her silhouettes might have been simple; this idea and the way in which she brought it to life are very promising.
