The second day of MBFWA was a day of contrasts, with the lovely and elegant show of II by Claes Iversen and the experimental, intense show/performance of Jef Montes.

MBFWA Fall 2016, this was Day 1

The first day of the Fall edition of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam is a fact. And what a start it was. It was a large celebration of Dutch Fashion, with a classy and elegant show of Dutch couture in Couture & Crafts and a wild show with a selection of Dutch Visionairies. The exhibition Dutch Heritage made this day long hommage complete.

MBFWA Fall 2016, Downtown Fashion Behind the Scenes

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam has officially started with the downtown-program. Ten days of fashion-events downtown Amsterdam. This weekend it was all about taking a look backstage at the show of JUtka&Riska plus a workshop Walking the Runway by catwalkcoach Dyonne. The Elite Model Look scouting team was also there to spot future talents.
Next thursday the Uptown Show-program will kick off.

What are they wearing during the Amsterdam Fashion Week? A Bas Kosters dress, this seasons Spijkers en Spijkers summer suit or an asymmetric Tony Cohen  trench? We don’t judge, we’re not the fashion-police, we just enjoy (Dutch) fashion and your own personal style.

MBFWA This was Day 4

It looks like Day 4 of MBFWA was all about hair. Looking at the shows of l’Oreal Professionel and Dennis Diem the haircrews did an amazing job. Other interesting shows were Mirte van Wijngaarden, Army of Me and Samaranda Almasan.

Day 3 of MBFWA is a fact. We look back to some great shows like Maison the Faux, SchuellerdeWaal and Sis by Spijkers & Spijkers.

Day 2 of MBFWA was a day to rememeber with some strong an interesting shows full of energy, emotion and creativity. We are thinking of  Bas Kosters, Aziz Bekkaoui and Said Mahrouf, but also Inkni.
