Atelier MariaLux is the name of the label of designer Lilian Driessen. Her Fall/Winter 2014 collection was inspired by Coco Chanel and her opinion regarding feelings and dressing according to that. The most aspiring quote in the press-release was: “You only live but once so you might as well be amusing”.
The collection had a slightly vintage feeling with classics like the deux pieces, smoking-costumes and unstructured dresses. The vibe was casual, luxurious and elegant with a bohemien touch.
A live-band with different singers and musicians played a new version of Cry me a River, an evergreen. To seal a good memory of the show Lilian Driessen gave all guests a sample of her perfume. She surely succeeded!
