Experts say brown is going to have a moment in 2017. Yet before we go into that we explore the current color trend which focuses on grey. For SS2016 the biggest fashion labels sent out endless variations to suits and casual wear. Lots of checked grey suits and grey jerseys, but you can basically dress in grey everyday. Just take a look at how Bottega Veneta, Thom Brown, Burberry and Diesel worked grey into their summer collections. Thom Brown presented a full range of the most extravagantly printed grey suits. Even colorful Kenzo turned to the sober hue and of course Armani’s collection wouldn’t be complete without his greige. Whether formal or easy going, a Diesel hoodie or a Burberry scarf, concrete shaded or silverish; have it your way in grey.

It’s not the first time around we’ve seen this trend get big. Wasn’t it last year we told you all about how to wow in white during the winter season? Well, this season too white is the chicest shade in buy viagra the bunch, popping up at labels like Céline, Ferragamo, Derek Lam, Stella McCartney, Proenza Schouler and Valentino. It might not be the most practical look (one winter storm and you´re dressed in all gray), but you can make a real fashion statement by going for a full on white colored attire. That is dresses (Céline, McCartney), coats (Ferragamo, Mulberry, Proenza Schouler), pants (Derek Lam) and capes (Valentino). Oh and no need to stress about the shoes; there’s nothing wrong with wearing a pair of black, off white, brown or even gray pumps or ankle boots with it. Perfect for a day at the office, Christmas with the family or an original party look (how refreshing something other than a LBD=!). MiuMiu, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Versus all had the same kind of seventies suits in their fall collections. Suits with bright graphic prints that are now all over the place. Just like the bold and colorful ones Giambattista Valli presented on his runway. A look that takes some guts to pull off. Guts and a strong pair of shoes that keep everything in balance. Velvet ankle shoes perhaps? Or a pair of suede peep toe beauties? Just keep it strong and outspoken, ‘cause this just is not the trend for wall flowers.

The two most common colors used in the winter collections are presumably black and grey. When it’s cold and the days are getting shorter, people tend to wear lots of dark colors.

But for this winter the designers seemed to want something else, more bright and shiny. Like we’ve seen at Acne, Burberry, Raf Simons, Yves Saint Laurent, Jil Sander, Calvin Klein and Kenzo. They used different lustrous colors to pep up their collections. The most simple basics appeared in different shades of red, orange, yellow, blue and purple. Most of them being used as a playful detail in an overall dark and gloomy ensemble, which is a perfect way to spice up your outfit. Just take a look at these cheerful looks for some inspiration…

Streetstyle Trend: A Touch of Neon

It was one of the biggest streetstyle trends of this season: neoncolored fashion items. The bright and funky colors popped up at every fashion week. We saw fluorescent lime, eclectic green, bright orange and neon pink everywhere.

The daredevils wore neon in their actual clothing, others opted for bright accessories like bags (satchel bags,  clutches) and shoes.

A smart choice, since a touch of neon is the easiest way to pimp your whole look and go from dull to daring.

Especially on a sunny day those neon shades make a great fashion statement.
