Victoria Beckham’s collection have an adult, modernist sensibility and the designer has a lot to offer in the world of modest, minimalist-based clothes that aren’t prudish or boring.

He fall-show proved that again. The rustic, sort of English flavor of slate and mossy tailored coats with big belts that opened the show befitted Beckham’s British background. Stirrup pants and strangely appealing square-toe flats bisected by a long strap that jutted out over the arch of the foot formed the foundation of a strong coat story that continued throughout the 25-look lineup.

There was a leopard print chenille jacquard trench as well as a padded navy trench that was sporty but elegant. Actually, it’s a good way to summarize collection’s strengths. Colors were rich — deep green, brown, sapphire blue. Nothing was casual, but there was a cool relaxation to the attitude.

Victoria Beckham crafted a confident, stable point of view of chic wearability for women of means and a high taste level that sits somewhere between feminine and minimal.
Her spring collection was flush with great color — soft, mineral blue, pink and lavender as well as vivid red — worked on silhouettes that exuded gentle power. Pertly tailored takes on utility shirts, some done in men’s checks, were paired with light pencil skirts. Fluid oversized shirts were layered over easy, wide-legged pants, and new suits came with boxy blazers and slim pants. A red dress with a high, gracefully ruffled neckline and cutaway panel at the waist was cut in a relaxed but seductive line. Many silhouettes were covered up, but not without allure or playfulness. Candy-colored glitter pumps and the occasional jeweled anklet offset the collection’s womanly sophistication with the perfect boost of girlish whimsy.

Victoria Beckham brought a tailored, soft and modest collection on stage yesterday. By using rich-but-grounded colors, like navy, oxblood, red and orange, and reworking classic men’s tailoring with square blazers and full-leg trousers, Beckham sent a subliminal message of strength. A woman in a sharply cut burgundy coat over fluid pants with a dashing foulard swishing under the coat is dressed to be taken seriously.
Even rounder, curvier and more fluid stuff, such as a red chiffon dress under a navy blazer, a navy sweater with sculpted sleeves and tie-waisted trousers, and body-skimming jersey dresses in graphic swirled prints inspired by Paul Nash, had a determined air. Likewise, the impressive shoes: pointy flats with double buckles and sturdy boots — wedges and high heels.

Victoria Beckham’s idea for fall 2016 was to make the bustier appropriate for day She cut it in unexpected materials like Prince of Wales check with a bright waxed thread stitched through it and in thick, spongy houndstooth jacquards, both with cutouts sliced below the bustline. These fabrics aren’t necessarily designed to hug a woman’s curves, but she can also opt for the body-con ribbed knit pieces (solids and striped) that Beckham layered over each other to achieve a similarly curvy effect.

To balance that, she also experimented with volume, sending out bubble skirts and others that flared generously to below the knee over flat shoes. Outerwear was strong: Softly structured clutch coats with fringe detailing at the hem shared the runway with more sartorially, sharply tailored numbers in menswear checks.

City chic got a sophisticated sportive touch for Victoria Beckham’s SS2016 collection. A collection all about midi lengths, lots of whites, suede pieces (yet never done in a seventies way), large checks, plaids-meet-florals print mixing, extraordinary necklines, half-moon style it-bags, babouche-like flats and Cali-inspired surf prints. Fresh clothes that simple breath fashion. Making woman look and feel elegant, feminine and even sexy, yet never put too obvious. Hooded tops and wide legged pants, printed midi co-ords and silver satin A-line evening dresses formed the base of Beckham’s carefree summer show. Designs she can wear when landing at LAX as well as when attending the upcoming CFDA’s. Because, even though we all dream of it, there’s no one who can do right to these clothes like Victoria Beckham does.

While working on her fall collection Victoria Beckham had been listening closely to her London store customers. Not minimalism and modernism alone were key terms of her collection; Victoria brought sexy back into her designs. The extremely popular, sexy dresses she presented at the beginning of her career in fashion, that is. Designs perhaps closer to Victoria’s, very much adored, personal style. Figure hugging, but – created out of the loveliest, most luxury fabrics– extra classy. Midi was another key word as culottes, dresses, skirts and coats all ended mid calf, forming a perfect match with the stompy high-heeled calf boots. Black, white, grey will be fall’s strongest color options, presented in the mix with a chic pop of olive green, yellow and orange. Cashmere tops and woolen bottoms ; clothes were stiff and structured, but kept their elegance, gracefully moving along with the models every move. Worn in a careless, effortless, yet sophisticated kind of way, that is inherent to Victoria’s personal way of dressing. As well as to that of her family. The Beckham family, which was complete and represented front row. Stylish, cool and well behaved (no tantrum involved). Victoria knows a thing or two about class..

It looks like Victoria Beckham is re-addressing her aesthetic signature now that she has a store of her own in London. The designer approached spring a lot like a retailer, with staple items — a shirt, a sweater, a coat — that may have hinted at a few directions but were united by Beckham with polish and commercial appeal. These included the uniform-inspired khaki looks, such as the elongated coat with subtle military details like soft epaulets and workwear pockets. The knits and graphic stripes made a bolder statement, though she kept the lineup’s surprise for the finale of bright florals that were screen-printed on voluminous woven raffia skirts and shown with white cotton shirts.

Victoria Beckham focused on shape, both literally and conceptually. She made generic viagra usa that clear with the first few black-and-white looks — a precise coat shown over a languid white top with boyish shorts cut just below the knee and pretty tops with flouncy hems. These, too, were worn over long shorts, but could stand on their own as minidresses. Other more structured, form-fitting minis were softened with white pleats that peeked out from underneath. Geometry came via architectural triangles that were placed in bold ways on several pieces, including a fuchsia top shown with a short flared skirt.

It is definitely visible in Victoria Beckham’s fall-collection she’s back in her homeland.  For fall 2013 she focused at English heritage fabrics executed in an easy and modern way. With adding more textures like pony-hair and bright blue and yellow mixed with black, gray and brown it all looked fresh and striking.

She went on with tailoring and made that visible in her coats.  Some of her shift dresses read Swinging Sixties, but there were also sexy looks: lean silhouettes cinched at the waist with slits that showed lots of leg. The designer also played with new proportions. Very chic were her structured, draped and belted tuxedo dresses. For evening she presented some takes on the smoking, with a coat and dress featuring trompe l’oeil sleeves which looked as if they were elegantly hanging off the models’ shoulders.

It seems Victoria Beckham has decided she wanted to to advance her collection. She accomplished this smartly for spring, most notably by adding chic, tailored separates. From a minimalist baseline, she worked interesting details into coats and jackets, slim pants and crisp shirts, the perfect ease of their combinations showing the hand of Beckham’s new stylist, Joe McKenna.
Yet Beckham still loves a great dress. She also incorporated feminine touches via lingerie details — bra tops and straps peeking out from under dresses — and various types of lace.
