Her collection ‘shambala’, inspired by a mythical kingdom, was all about comfort and happiness. Feminine models with frizzy curls sported kaftan-like tunics and color coordinated headbands. Beautiful kaleidoscopic prints (from images of every day objects) and loose fits gave the easygoing collection a seventies vibe. Chunky accessories in black and white matched the models’ shiny shoes. Everything just worked together perfectly and when the models did their little hip dance at the end we knew for sure we’d love to go on a journey to shambala, ‘cause it sure seems like one happy place.
