MBFWA Campaignshoot, behind the scenes

A few weeks ago we shot the campaign for the next edition of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam in january 2016. Coming wednesday the official program will be presented. Take a look behind the scenes of the shoot we did in the Gashouder at Westerpark together with Elite Models, hair-artist Tommy Hagen, Make Up Studio, the lovely people from Fashion Week Nederland and our crew. And we especially want to thank Jef Montes for lending his beautiful dress.

Frontrow at Tony Cohen AFW SS2013

That was maybe the fullest frontrow this fashionweek at Tony Cohens show this afternoon. Young teenagers, grand old ladies, singers and editors. They enjoyed a good show.

This was Amsterdam Fashion Week FW2012

Fashion is vaporized. All cameras are packed. Make up dissolved. The stage disappeared. This 16th edition of Amsterdam Fashion Week attracted almost 20.000 people. Visitors enjoyed the vibe and nice shows, to name some highlights: the openingnight with Bas Kosters and Sjaak Hullekes, the Lab-shows, Sage & Ivy-show, SIS by Spijkers & Spijkers, Jan Boelo and the Cast Iron-show. A special thanks to the organization of Amsterdam Fashionweek who made it all work out smoothly.

We’re on our way already to the next fashionweeks in New York, London, Milan and Paris.

So we’ll meet again.

The king is gone

Christian Dior caused quite a mob-scene outside the Rodin Museum yesterday, where the fashion-house built a big black tent in the gardens for the show. Approximately 300 to 500 people gathered in the Rue de Varenne trying to get a glimpse of celebrities but also Bernard Arnault – ceo of LVMH – and other vips, cameracrews, photographers, journalist and curious tourists fled the street. Eventually the police tried to put everybody behind the gates.

And there was only one single man who symbolically tried to speak out for John Galliano. And let’s be honest – we will miss Galliano. A lot.

Impressions of AIFW Day 3

This was Day3 of Amsterdam International Fashion Week. Highlights: the shows of Marloes Blaas and Addy van den Krommenacker, the party after MC by Monique Collignon, the Fashion Fasterclass  and of course lots and lots of fashionlovin’ people.

Emma Watson for Burberry

The British actress Emma Watson not only stars in the latest Harry Potter, but she is also the face in the new Burberry autumn-campaign. The campaign was shot at Westminister in London by Mario Testino. And according to Burberry’s creative director Christopher Bailey Watson represents classic beauty and a modern edge. The pictures look moody with that typical Burberry-mix of cool, British and classic.
